Take that Iplehouse girls! A message from Shalimar.

Ever since those Iplehouse girls arrived on the scene, the rest of us dolls have been utterly neglected. Imagine my delight when this gorgeous leather vest arrived for Shantipriya (Carina) and she was too busty to fit in it. Can you imagine that my guardian actually considered returning the vest? Sheesh. Well, as you can see, I claimed it, and I have to say that I look incredible in it. I even got a mini photo shoot out of it. Sure feels good to be in front of the camera again! (Even got to try out the beach background! Royal treatment!)

And no...I'm not afraid at all of getting the leather wet. Cool people wear leather on the beach. Ask my guardian's BFF from college. She wears a leather jacket over her bikini. :) True. It's because true rockers even rock on the beach!!!! :)

Shalimar is currently my favorite doll in my collection. I think she's an exquisite exotic beauty. Here are some pics of her with a wig I recently made called, "Blue Jean Baby" with strips of denim in the wig, and some fabulous polymer earrings that my daughter Jade made tonight.

Deliriously excited that I've acquired another Elfdoll RuRu!--well, just her head at this point, but nonetheless a portion of her!!!!!! Waiting on her body, and my nose will be pressed to the front window because I just received notification that it shipped!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting 2 months. Can't wait til she's a whole being.



I wiped her paint, and tried to determine if I wanted her to be soft or edgy. Since my first RuRu, Deepika Sheherazade, was soft, I decided to make Shalimar the edgy sister. Here are some of her first pictures--wearing a few wigs that I'm hoping to sell. (My dolls really earn their keep.)
