Muy Caliente A La Playa

Well, my JamieShow boys, Shariar (Kyle) and Raj (Alejandro) are muy caliente in their mariachi shirts from Ilse of MaxAmy design. Commissioned these shirts from Ilse and I LOVE them. They're joined on the beach by Larimar (a Tonner repaint/JamieShow hybrid doll.) Larimar is wearing Liquid Sunshine BASIX top, and Brunhilde pants.

Shariar is channelling "Hutch" (Michael Hutchence from INXS) for me. Well, not really...but humor me. One of my favorite front men from back in the day. His death broke my heart. Such a talented young person. But...I digress...

Take that Iplehouse girls! A message from Shalimar.

Ever since those Iplehouse girls arrived on the scene, the rest of us dolls have been utterly neglected. Imagine my delight when this gorgeous leather vest arrived for Shantipriya (Carina) and she was too busty to fit in it. Can you imagine that my guardian actually considered returning the vest? Sheesh. Well, as you can see, I claimed it, and I have to say that I look incredible in it. I even got a mini photo shoot out of it. Sure feels good to be in front of the camera again! (Even got to try out the beach background! Royal treatment!)

And no...I'm not afraid at all of getting the leather wet. Cool people wear leather on the beach. Ask my guardian's BFF from college. She wears a leather jacket over her bikini. :) True. It's because true rockers even rock on the beach!!!! :)

Just finished this ensemble for Shanti. A few adjustments still to be made, but otherwise, I love how it turned out. Testing out a new backdrop. (Note to self: put something white behind the backdrop. It saves on photoediting. Argh.)

Surf's Up!

SO enjoying my awesome new backdrop! It's like having a beach in my house without my dolls getting sandy or wet. (Not that I mind the surf and sand, myself. I'd move to the beach in a heartbeat and never look back if I could. Still a dream/goal.) Anyway........

Took some awesome shots of Hu'elani on the "beach" and added a few shells and starfish as props for effect!
