New sweater for Angel
Just got this gorgeous new sweater from Danielle of Amubleu at PoisonBleu on ETSY.
IF this sweater ever comes off of him because it's so gorgeous, it will only be because he's wearing another Poisonbleu sweater!

Angel Mario Giovanni Giorgio Christiano
Introducing Angel. Full name: Angel Mario Giovanni Giorgio Christiano. Named in honor of my 4 friends from the band heavy metal band, Oktober (Mario, John, George and Chris.) Angel is in memory of the incredibly talented and dear Mario Parillo as he lost a battle with cancer in 2001.
Angel is lead guitar in a Christian Metal band inspired by Haven. (In honor of the band whose jam session / Bible study was the place I accepted Christ in 1991. Thank you, Kevin, Andy, Ed, John, and Tim for your testimony and witness!)
And here he is before he got a haircut (I personally like it, but my kids aren't into long hair. He's going to need a long hair wig, though. No doubt.):

THE angel behind ANGELS Doll Studio
For years now, I've been meaning to photograph this angel, and today I went to my parent's house, and finally remembered to bring my camera.
This is a marble angel that as the story goes my great-great-great-great-grandfather Andrew Metzger carved. This is the only remaining piece of his work. From what I was told he gave one to each of his children, and one of the aunts got dementia and spray painted and destroyed all but the one that was in my great-grandmother's care. Greatx4 Grandfather was a sculptor in the old country and he created angels for mausoleums and churches. My mother is the guardian of the angel.
My doll studio is a legacy to Great-Grandfather Metzger. This is why my studio is "ANGELS Doll Studio."

A new angel arrives! A rose among roses!
Had a lovely surprise today! My dear husband brought me these exquisite flowers! Also received in the mail this lovely Metrodolls Shauna that I've always admired, but kept missing out on. She makes a perfect angel for my collection. I think she's the prettiest Shauna there is. I love the variegated tones in her hair. Truly a rose among the roses!
