Doll Collection update

Just updated one of the shelves in my studio.

Was blessed to acquire a new girl, and to return an "old" girl back to her place.

Jewel

Beautiful new Daphne in my collection by artist, Julie Elizabeth. She arrived in this exquisite gown, and jewelry provided by the person who was reselling her. I'm such a Daphne freak. Thrilled to have this beauty in my collection. Her original name was Justine, but she shines like a jewel, and I'm naming her "Jewel" in honor of Julie too since it sounds similar to her name.

Enkeli and Tarja

Well, I sold off all of my Daphnes (sob) a couple of months ago, but I kept these two girls for me. Enkeli and Tarja are twins. Both are repaints by me. Both names are Finnish. They are each taking turns rocking this JamieShow body that I own. Can't decide who deserves it.

Here is the sultry Enkeli ("angel")-- with angelic platinum and silver hair wearing a gothic red and black lace gown by Karen Kolkman, and leather trench by Ran D. Angel. Earrings by Patty.

And Tarja (whose name means "protector") wearing a stunning pewter sequined gown by Alwin Roos. Gunmetal rose jewelry by Shiloh Winter Jewelry.

Iris in True Romance

During a momentary lapse of sanity, I almost let this girl go. Thanks to an angel of a friend, Susanne, she remains in my collection. Here is the beautiful Iris from the Metrodolls Garden Party. She's a Daphne sculpt (one of my favorite sculpts by Robert Tonner) and she is wearing Madame Alexander's True Romance (Madame Alexander clothing is another obsession of mine.)

Daphnes

As of December, I've had to sell every one of my Daphnes. These are the dolls that once graced my collection. Sigh.

Daphne reigns supreme in my personal collection. I think she is THE most beautiful sculpt that Robert Tonner has ever created. (Supergirl ties with Daphne IMHO. I actually think they could be sisters.) Here are a few of my favorite Daphnes.
