Chenyin

Returning to me is the sweet Chenyin. Here is a repaint that I did a couple of years ago. She was a treasure in 2 of my friends' homes for a time, but has come to live with me. She bears happy memories of good friends made through doll collecting--Marsha and Helene. She was always one of my favorites, so I'm so thrilled and blessed to have her back. Her head is on a JamieShow body! I absolutely love these bodies. Wish I had 25 of them!

Here she is wearing a lovely gown by Monaeglow (that matches her eyeshadow just perfectly.) Necklace by Shiloh Winter Jewelry.

Her name is like poetry..."silver" and "greatness". Named in honor of a friend of the same name.

Beautiful Mehendi

I was so blessed to receive a gift from one of my dear friends who painstakingly created mehendi/ henna all over my doll's feet and hands. Her beautiful little nails are even french manicured. Thank you so much, dear Monica! (Monica Kohnke Dolls) I treasure this. My beautiful doll was a gift from my friend, Helene. She is a Women in the Media Awards Layne, named Sitara Taj (which is Helene's first and last name translated into Arabic as a tribute.) Sitara Taj was the very first doll in the collection that I presently am blessed with.

Beautiful little handmade shoes by friend, Kristen were also a gift.

My Layne Reese Collection

One of my favorite dolls in Tonner's collection is Layne Reese. I love Asian dolls, so I was thrilled when Robert Tonner added Layne into Tyler's world. I'm blessed to own 3 Laynes. Women in the Media Awards Layne
