A celebratory pic

Cause for celebration! Took a pic to commemorate it.  Today a new JamieShow body arrived, and my very first Bollywood creation, Jyoti, who was a former LiveWire AvantGuard, claimed it.  Her body was always so emaciated looking and over time her hands and feet started to discolor. I'm thrilled that she is now more beautiful than ever! Raj, a JamieShow Alejandro, her beloved, sat in for the pic.

Beautiful Mehendi

I was so blessed to receive a gift from one of my dear friends who painstakingly created mehendi/ henna all over my doll's feet and hands. Her beautiful little nails are even french manicured. Thank you so much, dear Monica! (Monica Kohnke Dolls) I treasure this. My beautiful doll was a gift from my friend, Helene. She is a Women in the Media Awards Layne, named Sitara Taj (which is Helene's first and last name translated into Arabic as a tribute.) Sitara Taj was the very first doll in the collection that I presently am blessed with.

Beautiful little handmade shoes by friend, Kristen were also a gift.

Dream gown: Paisley, paisley and more paisley

So blessed to finally acquire my dream gown, Casino Jade, by Robert Tonner. No one could own that dress better than my Jyoti. Paisley belongs on East Indian dolls. She is so exquisite in this gown. This gown is SO exquisite!!! Over the top, Mr. Tonner! (Click on pictures to see them larger.)

Aishwarya

The one who got away. This doll belongs in my collection. She was a former Mera that I repainted and rerooted. SOME day I'll find her and bring her back home. Otherwise, I'm hoping to make her a twin sister. She was inspired by the exquisite Bollywood actress, former Miss Universe, Aishwarya Rai.

This doll is especially sentimental to me as she was the last doll transaction that I had with the late Lianne Swann, a dear friend from the doll community. Lianne, you are missed. Painted by my dear friend, Dawn.
