Doll Collection update

Just updated one of the shelves in my studio.

Was blessed to acquire a new girl, and to return an "old" girl back to her place.

Left to right:
OOAK Tonner Daphne by Julie Elizabeth wearing Monaeglow, and a Monarch Butterfly hat that I created inspired by Alexander Mc Queen; Tonner Kingston Nurse Lana wearing Monaeglow; Tonner Zantanna (Lana)(new acquistion thanks to my dear friend Monica!) wearing an OOAK gown (don't know the artist as it was a gift); and seated, Tonner Platinum Cami with inset eyes (Jim Dandy was a sweetheart and touched them up for me) wearing Monaeglow. (Yeah---I kinda like Monaeglow.)

Angel in the center is Miss Marvel wearing an OOAK gown by Sherry Isenbarger (Sisen Design.)

OOAK Repaint Reroot Tonner Samantha by me wearing Alwin Roos; OOAK Repaint Reroot Tonner Lana by me wearing Alwin Roos; seated Kinetic Tszche (re-aquired thanks to my friend Matty!) wearing an OOAK wig by me, and Monaeglow gown; OOAK Repaint Reroot Tonner Daphne by me wearing Monaeglow.

The Lovely Tamina

I so wish JamieShow would made a replacement body in this color. I borrowed it from Angelica just to see how it looked. It's a perfect match for this skin tone of Tonner dolls. Oh, how my Tamina, and Vacation on Location Sydney and my High Seas Liz Swann are pining away to have a replacement body like this one. Sigh.

Chenyin

Returning to me is the sweet Chenyin. Here is a repaint that I did a couple of years ago. She was a treasure in 2 of my friends' homes for a time, but has come to live with me. She bears happy memories of good friends made through doll collecting--Marsha and Helene. She was always one of my favorites, so I'm so thrilled and blessed to have her back. Her head is on a JamieShow body! I absolutely love these bodies. Wish I had 25 of them!

Here she is wearing a lovely gown by Monaeglow (that matches her eyeshadow just perfectly.) Necklace by Shiloh Winter Jewelry.

Her name is like poetry..."silver" and "greatness". Named in honor of a friend of the same name.

Kinetic Tszche by Park

I recently acquired this beautiful Kinetic BJD Doll by the talented Park. She poses wonderfully and has really lovely resin. In the true vein of the artist, I was compelled to make one change---her eyebrows. (Sorry, it's an illness and always have to make my mark.) (In my defense, they were a wee wee bit damaged. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Kashmira--- my beautiful Frankendollly!

A project in the making for a few months----Kashmira. She is a Frankendolly of sorts. I created her with a Deena head from Tonner Doll's Dreamgirls Collection, and she has a Jamie Show body. I love her new look! I repainted her, and gave her runway eyelashes! I LOVE the blue! (Used to wear blue mascara when I was a teen and my dad used to say, "Looks like fungus is growing on your eyelashes! LOL Nah! Fungus is green, not blue!) The brown wig is from my BJD Tyler. Rust wig by Me. Very cool genie bottle was made by my friend, Shannon Craven, of Flutterwing Dolls and Collectibles. Both gowns by Monaeglow in Thailand (my current fashion obsession.) Necklace by MoxieGirlz. Earrings ---a gift from Karin of Cloud 9 Jewelry--for my Bollywood dollies!
